Students,

Stave 3 Questions:

1. Explain why the ghost of Christmas present shows Scrooge the Cratchit family.

2 What does the Ghost of Christmas present teach Scrooge? Justify your answer.

  1. 1.Scrooge is shown the Cratchit family because they celebrate Christmas with extreme joy, and even though they face hardships that could ruin them, they can still hate Scrooge whileenjoying Christmas. "After it had passed away, they were ten times merrier than before, from the mere relief of Scrooge the Baleful being done with."

    2.The ghost of Christmas Present teaches Scrooge how happy everyone is on the dreadfully cold days that come before Christmas while Scrooge has his "Bah, Humbug!" to everyone."On which one drinks the health of such an odious , stingy, hard, unfeeling man as Mr. Scrooge."

  2. 1.The reason why scrooge is shown the Cratchit family is because they celebrate
    Christmas with joy and happiness. Even though they are poor they still have jolly spirits and happiness. "After it had passed away, they were ten times merrier than before, from the mere relief of Scrooge the baleful being done with."

    2.The ghost shows Scrooge that people can be jolly and happy on Christmas. Even if they are poor

  3. 1.The ghost of Christmas present shows Scrooge the Cratchits family because they are celebrating Christmas even though Tiny Tim is in crutches they are not miserable but still joyful. "Long life to him! A merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!"

    2.The ghost of Christmas present teaches Scrooge that even if something terrible happens it shouldn't ruin your life forever. "He'll be very merry and very happy, I have no doubt!"

  8. The third spirit shows Scrooge the Cratchit family because Scrooge only knows the poor family with fun joy and enjoying Christmas time with the family while still being poor."A Merry Christmas to us all,my dears.God bless us!"

    2.The third spirit teaches Scrooge how happy the Cratchit family, his nephew and everyone that is happy with there family but still poor."On which one drinks the health of such an obious, stingy, hard, unfeeling man as Mr. Scrooge."

The Ghost of Christmas Present shows Scrooge the Cratchit family so that Scrooge can see that just because your poor dosnt mean you can't have a merry Christmas as shown on page 49 "Suppose somebody should have got over the wall of the back-yard, and stoien it, while they were merry with the goose."
    2. As I said above in question 1 the Ghost of Chirstmas Present teaches him that you don't have to be rich or have alot of things to be merry at Christmas as the book shows on page 49 and I've already quoted in question 1 "Suppose somebody got over the wall of the back-yard, and stolen it, while they were merry with thw goose."

  13. 1.The Ghost showed Scrooge, that even though In Cratchits family something horrible happened to Tiny Tim, they need to keep fighting, and think positive instead of the negetive,and come together and celebrate, together, as a family and you can still have a wonderful christmas."Long life to him! A merry Christmas and a Happy New Years !

    2.The Ghost teach Scrooge that even if somethings wrong or not right, or maybe something horrible happens, it doesn't ruin your future, anyone can be happy,it shouldn't hurt THAT much to ruin your life. You just got move on."He'll bevery merry and very happy,i have no doubt."

God bless us!" and that how much the Crachit family think Scrooge is mean and cheap. "Mr.Scrooge!" said Bob; "I'll give you Mr.Scrooge,the Founder of the Feast!"."The Founder of the Feast indeed!" cried Mrs.Crachit,reddening. "I wish I had hime here. I'd give him a piece of my mind to feast upon, and I hope he'd have a good appetite for it"

  19. 1.I believe that the ghost of Christmas present brought Scrooge to the Crachit Family because the ghost wanted Scrooge to know that no matter how poor you are, it doesn't mean you have to have a horrible life. It says in the quote "After it had past away they were ten times merrier than before, from the mere relief of Scrooge the Baleful being done with." pg.51

  21. The Ghost of Christmas Present shows Scroodge the Cratchit family to say that you don't have to be greedy or have alot of money to make a living. "Man," " if man you be in heart, not admant, forbear that wicked can'tuntil you have discovered What the surplus is, and Where it is. will you decide what men shall live, what man shall die? It may be, that in the sight of Heaven, you are more worthless and less fit to live than millions like the poor man's child." page 50.
